Kavinsky - Protovision
After releasing three EP’s through the Record Makers label, Kavinsky has emerged as one of the biggest artists of the French electro scene. Kavinsky’s signature track ‘Nightcall’ produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk, was the lead track from the soundtrack of the hit neo-noir crime film ‘Drive’.
The highly-anticipated debut album from Kavinsky, entitled ‘Outrun’, features ‘Nightcall’ and is produced by rising French DJ/producer Sebastian, and is set for a February 25th release in the UK on Mercury Records.
A phenomenal video for this track taken from the forthcoming album, it continues on the car theme from the hit film ‘Drive’ and looks oh so fly. A homage to the great car chases of yesteryear.

Taken from the soundtrack of one of the coolest films of the last decade, ‘Drive’, Kavinsky’s album ‘Outrun’ is set for release in 2013 and we cannot wait. ‘Nightcall’ epitomises cool, personifying the film it was featured in and has been out for a while now. Look out for this record, it will be very, very good if this track is anything to go by.
‘Nightcall’ was created by Kavinsky and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk, mixed by SebastiAn and if these are just two of the names working with Kavinsky, ‘Outrun’ is set to be brimming with talent.
